Duane Evans, Senior Intelligence Community Advisor/Facilitator

Mr. Evans is a consultant and instructor/facilitator for intelligence tradecraft training in multiple agencies in the IC. He is a retired senior CIA operations officer with field tours on four continents to include serving as Chief of Station. His experience includes full cycle recruitment, counterterrorist, hard target, and denied area operations. During his career he also held multiple leadership positions at CIA headquarters and served as a tradecraft instructor. He is the recipient of the Intelligence Star for valor and the CIA Career Commendation Medal.

Prior to joining the CIA, Mr. Evans served as a U.S. Army Special Forces and Military Intelligence Officer and also served as an instructor at U.S. Army Intelligence Center and School, Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger school and holds a Master Military Parachutist rating. He earned a B.S. degree in Police Science from New Mexico State University and is the author of Foxtrot in Kandahar: A Memoir of a CIA Officer in Afghanistan at the Inception of America’s Longest War and the novel North from Calcutta.


Joseph Roach, Senior Law Enforcement International Advisor/Facilitator

Mr. Roach spent over 35 years in law enforcement. He had spent over 22 of those years with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) serving in various offices rising through the ranks of special agent to country attaché in San Salvador, El Salvador. While at DEA, he served as the principal advisor to the U.S. ambassador on all international narcotics and drug-related matters including legislative change requirements, current trends, and recommendations. He also served as a Deputy Sheriff with Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Mr. Roach coordinated global operations working with all elements of law enforcement as well as US Military. He was responsible for developing strategies with the goal of infiltrating and dismantling global criminal organizations. Mr. Roach is a PhD in Criminal Justice, candidate with anticipated completion date of 2022 at Walden University, and has a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with Concentration in Critical Incident Management, Saint Leo University.

Currently he is the managing partner at American Redwood Consulting, a firm he founded that is responsible for conducting on site and remote audits to ensure DEA and State compliance supervising a team of over 30 consultants.
